3 WAYS TO USE ESSENTIAL OILS



Essential oils can help bring about fundamental changes in physical, mental and emotional well-being by triggering, and strengthening our bodies’ own natural responses. EOs cross cellular membranes to go to work and heal.

3 ways to use EOs:
(1) Inhale. Many hospitals are using aromatherapy now to help their patients. Inhalation can be the most direct method of delivery for the healing components in essential oils. Through the nasal cavity, the chemical messengers have direct access to the brain and can go straight to work.
 (2) Topically. Use with a ‘carrier oil’ such as fractionated coconut oil, or jojoba oil, olive oil, sesame seed oil, avocado oil to avoid sensitivity. Oils go through your pores and into your bloodstream, then are carried throughout your body to go to work.
 (3) Some oils, from certain companies, can be ingested. Read the label. Not all oils can be ingested. Never ingest too much – one drop is plenty to work.
